Rising to the challenge of solving the connectivity gap between rural and urban areas

Kichose Telecoms took on the project of deploying high-speed broadband internet to the small and under-connected village of Mamaila in Limpopo. To ensure the success of the project, Kichose Telecoms knew they needed a reliable, but affordable solution that would be able to provide stable fibre-like throughput to keep up with the connectivity demands of the village.

‘’We aim to provide a sustainable solution that will help us address the connectivity gaps that exist in under-serviced, remote and rural areas around the world.’’ – Pardon Mabunda, CEO, Kichose Group

  1. It was a struggle in the beginning to get the trail of the hotspots to run 100% but we pushed through and got them running 100%. Was an amazing feeling to get so much positive feed back and so many people to support for what Kichose and us (GDKISP) are doing. The range of the network will be expanding once the High site is up. We want to bring a fibre like internet to everyone and also help the youth to expand there horizons.
